The emergedetroit community is a budding network of young followers of Jesus in the Metro Detroit area. We are built up of existing young adult communities in area churches, campus ministries at local universities, and intentional communities begun by people looking for authentic expressions of their understandings of Christ (check out the Detroit Villages section of the site for more info). We are people seeking deep relationships, authentic worship experiences, and missional living that will help us be radical disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. You're invited to GATHER, GROW, and GO out into the world with us in the love of Jesus Christ.

The Detroit Villages missional collective is a growing friendship among intentional Christian communities across the City of Detroit. These houses, streets, and neighborhood gatherings are becoming the building blocks of a fresh expression of Christian community in this city and are full of people seeking to live out radical discipleship that looks pretty ordinary when you first look at it.   In gardens, coffee conversations, potlucks, and protests - Detroit Villagers are seeking to be the hands and feet of Jesus locally.  Below you'll find some of our communities listed and we encourage all those interested in this kind of intentional Christian life to join us for a potluck or other monthly gathering.
