As the New Year arrives I have been preparing for our upcoming Metro Youth Encounter gathering in January. This will be a day on religion and the media and we'll be asking the question of how Christians are called to interact with modern mass communication.

Building Up Brightmoor

Last week I had the opportunity to tour the Brightmoor neighborhood of Detroit with the Northwest Detroit Neighborhood Development group. Learning about Homelessness and Hospitality

  • Graduated another class of 10th-11th grade Metro Youth Encounter participants as leaders for their churches and communities.
