Metro Youth Encounter
While taking various forms over the years, the Metro Youth Encounter is focused on gathering United Methodist youth together for cultural immersion and leadership development experiences. Youth from a diverse collection of churches gather, growing in their capacity for radical discipleship and missional living. At it's core, this program is designed to help youth re-imagine, re-invigorate, or re-start youth and mission ministries in their home church and community.
Most recently MYE has been redesigned as a micro-funding and missional entrepreneurship program for Detroit Renaissance District youth group of the United Methodist Church.
